The Quest for Quality Data and Information
As we look ahead, we know that CorHealth Ontario’s data needs have an impact on our healthcare planner and provider colleagues in the province. Today, we have the opportunity to collect relevant data in a more efficient and forward-thinking way, leverage data that already exists, and optimize the use of the collected data to support policy, planning and quality improvement.
In late-2017, after the launch of our inaugural Strategic Plan, CorHealth Ontario began a project that sought to determine and redesign our information needs and digital infrastructure to deliver against our new mandate. This Information and Digital Strategy focuses on partnerships, rational data collection, and improved data management and analysis infrastructure, setting us on the right path for the future.
The development of this strategy marks an important milestone in our organization’s evolution! Click here to read an overview of CorHealth Ontario’s new Information and Digital Strategy which includes a highlight of how it may affect you, our valued stakeholders.
CorHealth Ontario is grateful for the support of the more than 350 stakeholders who helped inform this roadmap. We are committed to continuing to work with you as we begin implementing this ambitious plan. On behalf of cardiac, stroke and vascular patients across Ontario, thank you.
