Implementation of Automated Imaging Software (Ischemaview RAPID):

FAQ’s and Lessons Learned

This resource was collaboratively developed through the experience of the Central South, Southwest and Southeastern Ontario Stroke Networks that have successfully acquired and implemented Automated Imaging Software within their Regional and District Stroke Hospitals to support patient selection for Stroke Endovascular Thrombectomy (EVT). The purpose of the resource is for sharing considerations for implementation in order to support others who may be interested in adopting similar software as part a regional strategy to enhance access to EVT. The document does not represent best practice recommendations nor a specific endorsement of Ischemaview RAPID. It is recognized that other stroke regions may wish to consider other available software manufactured by different vendors for regional implementation.
